UPCOMING COURSE

Here is our course schedule for 2024.

  1. Basic Safety Training (BST): Available Monthly

    There are no specific entry standards or particular educational requirements for the training in this five-module model course. The training is mandatory for all prospective seafarers, who should complete this basic training before being assigned to any shipboard duties and is open to all seafarers who are to serve on board seagoing merchant ships.   2. Ship Security Awareness for Seafarers (SSA): Available Monthly

    On 01 January 2014, STCW Regulation VI/6 was entered into force. This regulation requires all seafarers on ships subject to the ISPS Code to have received security related training and instruction relevant to their assigned duties on-board. [more]

  3. Watchkeeping for Deck Ratings (WDR) – II/4 & II/5: Available on Request

    The purpose is to provide for both practicing mariners and those who aspire to become ship masters or navigating officers an awareness of the hazards, knowledge, skills and standards of safe working procedures while in charge of a navigational watch. [more]

  4. Watchkeeping for Engine Room Ratings (WER) – III/4 and III/5: Available on Request

    On completion of this course, trainees would possess sufficient knowledge of marine engineering support level duties and responsibilities. [more]

  5. Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats (PSCRB): Available on Request
